London Fashion Week Runway Rundown

If the big apple Fashion Week was a snowstorm of icy white hues, then the London designers radiated a tropical sunburst of hot pinks, bright tangerines, highlighter yellows, and muted ocean tones on the catwalk.

Basically, the Spring/Summer 2011 collections on London's runway in the week may be described in one word: color. and much of it. a couple of notable designers who used dominant color in their fashions included Mary Katrantzou, Michael van der Ham, and Jonathan Saunders, as the big apple Times Fashion editor Cathy Horyn noted. though she admired their daring use of color, she criticized their vogue originality and talent to satisfy their overall vision. purpose taken.

Nonetheless, London kept this season's catwalk vibrant with an honest form of vogue and, of course, color. a couple of different highlights (pun intended) from this week:
Burberry: The luxurious Brit fashion house neglected to premiere as an entire assortment, however will it even matter? At Burberry's show, the infamous name still managed to draw in lots of A-listers like Alexa Chung, Andy Murray, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Andy Murray.
Bailey, Christopher: Bailey showcased a troublesome, quirky look with studded, motorcycle-inspired leather, dark leggings, and miniskirts.
